What are the yoga styles we teacher and where should you start? Learn about Vinyasa, Hatha, and Restorative.
Ashtanga Vinyasa yoga is a creative form of yoga where poses are linked together with the breath in a flowing sequence.
At its heart, vinyasa translates as—to place in a special way; to move purposefully and with intention.
It is suitable for you if you are familiar with the foundations of yoga poses and enjoy feeling challenged during your yoga session.
In Restorative Yoga, we invite you to unwind, release tension, and restore balance to both body and mind.
Through the support of props and guided breathwork, we gently open the body, alleviate stress, and promote a sense of deep relaxation.
Join us as we nurture ourselves with this deeply nourishing practice, leaving you feeling rejuvenated, grounded, and at peace.
Hatha Yoga focuses on posture and breathing techniques. Hatha Yoga is fundamentally all about balance. “Ha” means sun and “tha” means moon, possessing completely opposite energies.
Hatha represents the dual and balanced nature of the universe where opposite energies stay side by side. So ultimately in Hatha we balance those fierce and gentle forces to lead a healthy life and a clear perspective.
It is considered a gentle yoga, is suitable for practitioners of all levels and is great for beginners.
